			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hey guys I just wanted to make a post about how important it is to select natural fibers when your detoxing. Not just for your mind but for your body. </p>
<p>Synthetic fibers can actually make you feel i&#8217;ll by blocking pores and removing breathablity. All natural fibers don&#8217;t have they problem, they are less dense and therefor don&#8217;t block pores, and breath much better.</p>
<p>My personal choice of all natural clothing is hemp. Wearing hemp allows me to know I&#8217;ve made an earth friendly choice. My mind detoxes because I know what I&#8217;m wearing is in line with my values. </p>

<p>one of the most important articles I found on the site says that wearing hemp isn&#8217;t just for utility, but that its a statement. Its so true, when you wear hemp you are saying ALOT. The best part is that you can tell people about it. They may say something like &#8220;Nice shirt&#8221; and you can reply &#8220;Thanks, its made of hemp&#8221;. This can start up a whole conversation revolving around values and making our world a better place with our daily choices. All things a good detoxer wants to share.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sometimes our mind becomes full of negative thoughts we don&#8217;t like. Why don&#8217;t we like these thoughts? Because of how they make us feel. When you have a thought that doesn&#8217;t make you feel good you should explore that thought. The immediate response of course is to deny that thought. To put a stop to it. To leave it alone. But its important that you not do this. Its a problem for you, how will you ever solve it if you leave that problem alone? So how do you resolve this problem? I&#8217;ll explain in detail.</p>
<p><strong>Step 1 &#8211; Be Reasonable</strong>.<br />
The first thing you should remember is that this thought probably isn&#8217;t your fault. Our environments play a big role in our psychological make up. Our minds can become polluted by the world around us. Also sometimes we are forced into situations and we dealt with them the only way we knew how at the time. We might regret how we dealt with them but we have to go easy on ourselves. Its important to learn from those mistakes. But its not important to dwell on the fact that we made one. The faster you learn, the less you have to hurt.</p>
<p>So, the first step is to remind yourself &#8220;Its not like me to be that way. Its a thought that comes from something that happened to me. That thought doesn&#8217;t make me who I am. That thought is there for a reason, but it may not be the reason I think.&#8221; These are all important ideas and phrases, but you don&#8217;t have to say them. Just get the idea in your head.</p>
<p><strong>Step 2 &#8211; Explore the Thought/Feeling</strong><br />
Now that your more okay with the thought/feeling, you can explore it. Its important to explore so you can resolve. Sometimes we dont know how to resolve old thoughts or situations. To explore the thought all you have to do is sit with it for a bit. Allow the thought/feeling to happen, allow the events and ideas around the thought/feeling to happen. All the while keep your intentions directed to resolving the thought/feeling/problem/situation. You will come up with an idea. Maybe it means talking to someone. Maybe it means getting something done you&#8217;ve been putting off. </p>
<p><strong>Step 3 &#8211; Act.</strong><br />
Now comes that hard part. You have to act. Without action there can be no liberation from that thought and all the bad feelings associated with it. Its hard to do sometimes. But remember the reward. You&#8217;ll feel incredible and you life will become more full of joy and happiness.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The most apparent way to detox your mind is to mediate. This practice has been done by all sorts of cultures for thousands of years. People use mediation for a variety of reasons. Some times its to relax, sometimes to seek an answer to a problem, other times its for seeking enlightenment. In our case for example its to help us detox. The truth is that meditation is for everyone and it can be used to accomplish different goals.</p>
<p>It can help us feel less stressed, less anxious, and generally just more balanced. This is why its such a great way to help your detox. When you are stressed you body has to spend more resources on combating that stress. That means less time keeping your elimination systems working to their full potential. It also mean less healthy relationships because stress can quickly lead to anger and frustration.</p>
<p> Finding the mediation that is right for you may take a bit of effort. There are many to choose from. You can find posts relating to specific techniques on this site. If you don&#8217;t want to read up to lean techniques there are always classes and retreats being offered in your community. Some of these retreats are very strict while others are more relaxed. Choose the retreat that is best for oyu and best suits your lifestyle. You will find a list of various retreats and mediation centers on this site.</p>
<p> If you have found the mediation you want to practice your next step is to find a  good  soft cushion to sit on and a blanket to keep you warm. Some people also like to prepare a special area for mediation. This is a good idea because you will associate the environment with the action. You will for example be less likely to fall asleep or get distracted. When you mediate you want to be comfortable. When your done mediating, make sure to break your posture very slowly. Your joints have been still for a long time. Go so slow as to feel as little pain as possible.  </p>
<p>Some people don&#8217;t start mediating because it seems so serious! But it doesnt have to be a serious thing. For many its a way to teach yourself to relax and be calm. This is a far cry from looking for enlightenment. To make it less serious, some people prefur more active forms of mediation such as tai chi or gently playing an intstument. Another reason people do like mediation is all the sitting. While this is typically ture, its okay to lay down when you mediatie. Ideally, you dont want to fall asleep, but if you do, who cares! You will wake up relaxed and refeshed.</p>
